Today, December 20th, the Steel officially announced their acquisition of Bill Eiserman. The ever-reliable pointstreak has Eiserman listed as a forward for now, though it's well known he's a defenseman.
Both Poinstreak and the Steel's official roster page have Eiserman wearing #24.
No corresponding move has been made yet. Counting Neumann sitting on the IR, the Steel are currently at 25 players. Perhaps things will be made clear by tomorrow night's game in Indiana, where I expect Eiserman to make his debut.
One minor interesting thing of note with Eiserman wearing #24 is that said jersey number will no longer go to a rotating cast of call-ups. This will likely mean affiliate players will wear #22 and #44 for the rest of the season.
Once word of a corresponding roster move is made public, I'll post it with some analysis.
